The BH39 is not a lightly constructed, “downeast” appearing, coastal cruising boat, it is a serious offshore workboat design, stoutly constructed in the Maine tradition.   She is built with the best construction techniques available: all vinylester resins; engineered fabrics; premium corring; extensive, rigid box-framing ... light, stiff, strong and extraordinarily durable. She is built in the Bar Harbor, Maine area by highly experienced and greatly respected “downeast” craftsman. The BH39 shares the elegant, traditional hull and deck lines, the rugged construction, and is built in the same facility and hull molds as production lobster boats. We have merely added both living space and technological improvements to polish our approach to the cruising mission.
